Lighting that came with the case rather than lighting you assembled. The strips are built into the front and top of the chassis, wired internally and driven from one application, so there are no adhesive strips behind the glass, no controller box velcroed into a corner and no second software suite fighting the first. On a build where the lighting is meant to look designed rather than added, that difference shows.

What It Pairs With
Other lit parts that can join the same scheme — a cooler, memory or fans whose colours you want moving together rather than each doing its own thing. It takes a standard ATX board, a power supply up to 180mm deep and a graphics card around 350mm without touching the drive cage. You will need a free internal USB 2.0 header on the motherboard for the lighting control, which is worth checking before the parts list is final.
Who This Isn’t For
A build meant to be dark and quiet in the corner of a room, or one that runs headless in a cupboard — lighting you never look at is weight on the bill. It also assumes you are willing to run the manufacturer’s control application, which is one more piece of software resident on the machine. And if the motherboard has no spare internal USB header, that needs solving before the case arrives rather than after. Send us the board model and we will check it.
Common Questions
Do I need the USB header just for lighting?
Yes, the control connection uses an internal USB 2.0 header. Most current boards have one or two, but a compact board may have them already occupied. Send us the model and we will confirm there is a free one.
Can I turn the lighting off?
Completely, from the application, and it stays off. Some people run it white and dim rather than colourful, which suits a desk that also gets worked at.
Will my graphics card fit?
Cards up to roughly 350mm go in without removing the drive cage, which covers most of the current range. Send us the exact model and we will check it against the measurement rather than the category.
