What It Pairs With
The parts that need the room: a workstation board, a 360mm radiator with another one alongside it, a full-length graphics card, and a power supply you do not have to measure twice. It also suits a build you intend to keep changing, because working inside it is genuinely easier than inside a packed mid tower. Plan the radiator positions before you order, since a top mount and tall memory can want the same few centimetres.
Who This Isn’t For
A desk that has to take the machine on top of it. This chassis is genuinely large — bigger in person than it looks in a photograph — and it is happiest on the floor or on a wide surface with room around it. A standard ATX build with one radiator and one graphics card does not need what it offers, and you would be paying for volume you never fill. How much space does it actually need?

Do I need an E-ATX board to justify it?
No. Plenty of ATX builds go in one because of the radiator room or because the owner plans to keep rebuilding it. E-ATX support is the ceiling rather than the requirement.
