Blowing air across an open space is easy. Pushing it through a radiator packed with fins, or a dust filter behind a mesh panel, is a different job — the air resists, and a fan without the pressure to overcome that simply spins and makes noise. The A12x25 is built with unusually tight clearance between the blade tips and the frame, which is where that pressure comes from. It is the fan for the restricted positions.

What It Pairs With
A radiator, a filtered intake, or the front of a case where a solid or heavily perforated panel sits in the way. It runs from any 4-pin header, so the motherboard can curve it down to nearly nothing at idle and bring it up only when something is actually warm. Most builds want two or three rather than a whole set, in the specific positions where the air has to work for it. Tell us the case and we will say where they earn their place.
Who This Isn’t For
A build with a lighting scheme running through it. There is no RGB here and there is no version with any, so a fan in a visible position will be the one part not joining in. Filling every mounting point in a case with these is also poor value — in an open exhaust position, where the air meets no resistance, a much cheaper fan does nearly the same work. Buy them where there is something in the way, and tell us where that is.
Common Questions
What is static pressure and when do I need it?
It is the fan’s ability to keep moving air against something that resists it. You need it wherever there is a radiator, a filter or a restrictive panel in the path. In a clear exhaust position it makes far less difference.
How many should I buy?
Usually two or three, in the positions that are actually restricted. Send us your case and cooler and we will quote the set that makes sense rather than one for every mounting hole.
Is the six-year warranty meaningful?
It is a statement about the bearing, which is the part of a fan that eventually fails and starts ticking. A fan you never have to reach into the case to replace is worth something on a machine you intend to keep.
