What It Pairs With
An LGA1851 board — B860 covers a standard build, Z890 if you want to overclock or you need the extra M.2 slots and USB. DDR5 6000 with XMP is the practical sweet spot. It runs warm under a sustained all-core load, so plan on a 240mm liquid cooler or a good tower air cooler, and note there is no cooler in the box to fall back on. Any modern graphics card pairs cleanly with it.
Who This Isn’t For
If the machine exists purely to play games and does nothing else, you are paying for efficiency cores that will spend most of their life idle — a simpler chip and more graphics card is the stronger build for that money. It is also not the one to pick if you want a system that stays near-silent under a heavy load without spending properly on cooling first.

Does it come with a cooler?
No. Budget for a 240mm liquid cooler or a good tower air cooler, and check it carries an LGA1851 bracket.
Do I need a Z890 board for it?
Only if you plan to overclock. A B860 board runs it perfectly well at stock speeds — tell us which one you have and we will confirm.
Will my existing LGA1700 cooler fit?
Often, yes. Many coolers mount to both, and where they do not the maker will usually send a bracket. Send us the cooler model and we will check it for you.
